Steven Cocker is one of the internet's "Quiet Entrepreneurs".
His internet empire is huge - covering all facets of the internet but primarily focusing on Internet Marketing.
He does run a once a year Closed Doors Training Course for a small hand picked group of people that apply to him daily for advice and direction. He charges nearly £10,000 per head for the three day course but still has more applications than spaces.
" I know I am probably the best at what I do and so do they - thats why they want to spend those three days with me one on one, and go away with a much clearer direction and focus on where they will make their fortune on the internet." Says Steven,
He adds " I am toying with the idea of writing a book but the problem is that a book has to appeal to a wider audience and that's not so effective. If I can figure out the best way to make it useful and inspiring to a lot of people then I will do it, but until then, I will stick to my current plan"
Talking to Steven, you realise his brain works differently to most other people. the best way to describe it is that he sees in parallel - by that I mean whatever the problem or issue he is faced with - he sees ALL the answers laid out alongside each other and instantly compares them all - just like one of those financial comparison websites! He can therefore always see the best answer almost immediately. Although he says:
" I have made mistakes - of course I have! Anyone who is successful has had to push boundaries and think differently to the masses. That means you are always trying new things and sometimes your gut feeling is the only thing that gets you through!"
It's certainly inspiring and motivating talking to him and you can easily see why people queue up to spend £10,000! He certainly doesn't give anything away easily and says
" You cannot box up success and sell it like a recipe! Its a combination of vision, motivation, hard work and quick reactions to opportunities. Everyone in this country has the potential to be more successful but most people choose a lesser path."
As I said at the beginning - you never know when or what he's up to as he doesn't shout about it, but you can be sure that as Internet Entrepreneur's go Steven Cocker is probably one of those that you should watch out for.
